Jaskiran Singh is a digital storyteller, journalist, and creative powerhouse with expertise in video production, graphics, and photography. She earned her degree in Communication with an emphasis in Journalism & Media, along with minors in Visual Communication and Film, from Saint Louis University in May 2020.

Currently a vital contributor at Jasper Paul PR & Marketing, Jaskiran collaborates with local St. Louis businesses to craft compelling videos, graphics, and photo content for their social platforms, strategically enhancing their marketing efforts. Managing social accounts for seven brands, she plays a pivotal role in establishing brand identity, determining creative direction, and cultivating a strong online presence.

Prior to her current role, Jaskiran enjoyed being a freelance videographer and video editor for newsrooms and small businesses. Her professional journey includes a stint as a video editing and producing fellow for Business Insider, where she contributed to popular shows like Fast Food Chemistry and Food Wars. Additionally, she honed her skills as an intern for National Geographic's video department at their headquarters, showcasing her talents in editing and producing engaging social videos.

Jaskiran's life mission is to visually and digitally showcase, share, and amplify diverse stories, particularly through film and short-form video. She’s a proud member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia and she co-founded the SLU Film & Production club during her time at Saint Louis University. She also served as the Multimedia editor for The University News. Her passion for storytelling and cinematography was further demonstrated as the Co-Director and Director of Photography on the documentary "Queer Religion," a collaborative project with four peers.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Jaskiran was honored with the Dan Kelly Award/Scholarship in Broadcast/Electronic Journalism from the SLU Communication Department in 2019. In 2020, she received the prestigious Bea-On-Location Creative Award of Excellence in Student Documentary for her film “Visual Letters.” With a rich portfolio and a commitment to diversity in storytelling, Jaskiran continues to make waves in the world of digital media.
